The course includes a mix of on-land instruction and water workouts. Expect to practice various drills focusing on body positioning, timing, and mechanics.   • Foundations Level 1 or equivalent skills. Rolling is a form of self-rescue, and generally the least reliable. It’s best to come to this class after learning basic self-rescue techniques.

  • Onboarding: After signing up, we’ll send you a questionnaire to complete about your kayaking experience and general health to ensure you’re enrolling in the right class.
