Body Boat Blade is committed to the highest level of private coaching. We will work
with you to accomplish your paddling goals, whether it is beginning skills, rescues,
rolling, gaining confidence in rough water, BCU certification, or help with planning
a trip. Working with one of our coaches 1-on-1 or in a semi-private session is a sure
way to accelerate your learning curve and maximize your time on the water!

PRIVATE COACHING FEES AND MINIMUMS
3 hour minimum (except rolling)
RATES FOR 1-ON-1: US $75.00 per hour, 3-hour minimum (full day = US $450.00)(
RATES FOR 1-ON-2: US $45.00 per hour per person, 3-hour minimum (full day = US $540.00)
RATES FOR 3 - 4 PEOPLE: US $400.00 for a 3-hour session, US $798.00 for a full day.
Sessions that involve more extensive travel and logistics may incur additional costs.

PRIVATE ROLLING
90 minutes
FEE: US $120.00

PREREQUISITES: Comfortable with water, some very basic kayak skills.
Rolling is a foundation skill. Once you have your roll, your other skills tend to increase exponentially, as does your confidence! The skilled coaches at BBB will help you attain a solid, effective roll quickly. Avoid learning bad habits from self teaching or working with untrained peers. We have been teaching successful rolling skills for nearly 20 years!
PERFORMANCE ROLLING

PREREQUISITES: At least one solid roll, good sculling abilities, and a static brace.
Our list of rolls at Body Boat Blade includes 44 ways to right an overturned kayak. 27 use a paddle, about 5 use a small stick or bath tub toy, 5 more only your hands, and one holding a 13 lb. brick! So… if you have one solid roll and have started to learn others, this will be a fun class. We will fine-tune your body mechanics and blade control for successful rolls.
CLUB AND INDUSTRY COACHING
FEE: US $350.00 per coach per day
1 coach to 4 students ratio for flat water.
2 coaches to 10 students maximum ratio on flat water.
2 coaches to 6 students ratio on dynamic water.
Sessions that involve more extensive travel and logistics may incur additional costs.
